50mm Project 2011

Back in 2011, I tried my hand at a personal photography project known as the 50mm Project. For those unfamiliar, it's a challenge where I aimed to capture 50 images over 50 days, using a simple 50mm lens. The twist? Each image needed to be shot, edited, and uploaded before midnight. It was quite the creative endeavor, I must say.

My 50mm Project from 2011 was, well, a bit of a whirlwind. I look back on it as a period of personal growth and learning. The subjects I chose were diverse, and it was a fascinating journey to witness everyday life through my lens. I did my best to capture the beauty and essence of those moments.

Photography, as I see it, is about storytelling, and my project aimed to narrate the story of those 50 days in my life. It's not just about the gear; it's about the way I saw the world through that lens.

I also completed 50mm projects in 2012 and 2014, they too were filled with their own unique experiences and stories. I'll continue to share my photographic adventures with a touch of humility.

You can see more details about each image on my Flickr album
